We diagnose before we repair
A visible problem is not always the actual fault.
For example, a tablet with a lifting or damaged screen may appear to need a £300 screen replacement. During proper testing, we may discover that a swollen battery is pushing the screen upwards.
Replacing the screen without identifying the battery problem first could mean paying for the wrong repair. You could then face a refund, another wait for the correct parts and further time without your device.
Our diagnostic process is designed to identify the underlying cause before repair work is authorised.
This helps avoid unnecessary parts, unnecessary repair costs, refunds and additional waiting time. If testing shows that the suspected repair is not the correct solution, we can explain what is actually required before you commit to the repair.
Diagnosis first → Correct fault identified → Repair explained → You decide whether to proceed
