Green Tech Repairs (Microshops) — Terms of Service
1. Diagnostic & Safety Check (£30.00)
A mandatory £30.00 fee applies to all devices brought into the workshop. Similar to a dental or automotive check-up, this fee covers the initial expert labor:
- Expert Inspection: We physically open the device to diagnose the fault and provide a fixed quote for parts and labor.
- Internal Cleaning: As part of the check-up, we remove dust from the cooling system to ensure performance.
- Electrical Safety Check: We test the battery and power systems to ensure the device is safe for use.
- Standalone Charge: This fee covers the work performed during the diagnostic phase and is not deducted from final repair or software costs.
2. Shipping & Asset Protection
- Inbound Transit: You are responsible for safely packing and insuring your device. We are not liable for damage during shipping to our workshop.
- Verified Unboxing: Every arrival is filmed under surveillance to confirm the physical condition of the device upon receipt.
- Return Shipping: All returns are sent via tracked UK couriers with full insurance. If insurance is declined, the customer assumes total liability for any loss or damage.
3. Completion Window
- Lead Times: Professional service and testing typically takes 7 to 10 working days from the date of invoice settlement.
4. Workstation & AI Compliance
- The Shield Standard: We only integrate 5090 GPUs into chassis that meet our thermal and “Shield” clearance specifications.
- Forensic Power Analysis: Every unit undergoes a Forensic Power Analysis. We provide documentation detailing exactly what the PCA can be used for.
5. General Disclosures
- Pricing Policy: Final invoices reflect the retail cost of parts (+20%), a £75 build fee, and all transit/insurance costs.
- Data Protection: Please backup your files. We assume no responsibility for data loss during the technical service window.
- Asset Stewardship: Items left for 31 days after final notification will be recycled or sold to recover our labor and storage costs.
