What Cooling Problem Are You Experiencing?

1. Overheating

Overheating can have several causes, including restricted airflow, failed fans, poor thermal contact, blocked heatsinks or problems with liquid cooling systems.

Fan noise can indicate bearing wear, obstruction, dust build-up, incorrect fan control, temperature problems or a failing fan.

Thermal throttling is a protective mechanism. Diagnosis is needed to establish why the component is reaching its thermal limits.

Graphics cards can generate substantial heat under load. Diagnosis is required to identify whether the issue is the fan, heatsink, airflow, thermal contact or another component.
