Fanless Laptop — General Query Form
Use this form to submit support questions, service enquiries, or maintenance requests for your fanless laptop.
Packaging Guide: Fanless Laptop
1. Preparation
- System State: Completely power off the device.
- Screen Protection: Use a protective microfiber cloth between the keyboard and display. Because these units often lack a large internal fan shroud, the screen-to-keyboard clearance is minimal.
- Chassis Preservation: The external casing is often the primary heat sink. Ensure it is clean and free of any insulating films or stickers that could hinder thermal dissipation upon arrival.
2. The Box-in-Box Method
- Inner Box: Wrap the laptop in 6cm of anti-static foam wrap and place it securely in a rigid inner carton.
- Outer Box: Use a new, double-wall corrugated box providing 14cm of clearance on all sides.
- Cushioning: Use industrial foam blocks to immobilize the unit. Avoid using loose packing peanuts, which can trap heat if the unit is activated in error.
3. Labelling & Documentation
- Fragile Labelling: Affix “FRAGILE – FANLESS ELECTRONICS” and “HANDLE WITH CARE” labels on all sides.
- Documentation: Include your full name, return address, and service reference inside the box.
Important: Ensure full insurance coverage, as fanless chassis are often thin-walled and susceptible to pressure-related warping.
