Workstation Water Cooled System Packaging Guide
Preparation
- Shut down system fully and disconnect power
- Disconnect all peripherals, display, and network cables
- Allow system to cool completely before handling
- Remove external water cooling reservoirs if detachable
Liquid Cooling Safety
- Check for leaks before packing
- Secure tubing to prevent movement stress
- Do not tilt excessively if custom loop is installed
- Drain system only if service procedure requires it
Internal Protection
- Secure GPU and heavy components to prevent sag
- Protect radiator mounts and fan assemblies
- Lock down any loose fittings or brackets
- Ensure pump block is firmly seated
Primary Packing
- Wrap system in anti-static bag
- Use at least 5cm high-density bubble wrap
- Protect radiator edges and tubing runs
- Avoid pressure on glass panels (if present)
Boxing
- Use heavy-duty double-wall or triple-wall box
- Maintain 5cm–10cm clearance on all sides
- Use dense foam supports for weight distribution
- Ensure system cannot shift during transport
Orientation & Transport
- Transport in upright position unless loop design requires otherwise
- Avoid vibration and sudden impacts
- Do not stack heavy items on top
- Label as LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM – FRAGILE
Sealing & Labeling
- Seal with reinforced packing tape
- Reinforce all seams and base of box
- Mark THIS SIDE UP clearly
- Label FRAGILE – HIGH VALUE ELECTRONICS
